We never sell your data, and we share it with no one but Supabase, who stores it for us.
No ads. No tracking. No location.
Reading needs no account. Only your first name is ever shown.
The Quran is shown exactly as received, and every source is named.
What you say stays in your halaqa. Only the Quran, the halaqa's name and, on an invite, the host's and the sender's first names ever leave the app.
Delete everything, any time, and it's gone. One exception: a message someone reported is kept for the reviewer for 30 days.
What we keep
اللي بنحفظه- If you start or join a halaqa: your first name, sister or brother, and year of birth (and the initial earlier versions asked for).
- The halaqas you sit in, and when you sat.
- What you said in them, voice notes and their words included, and anything you reported or blocked.
- Voice notes are written out by Apple's speech recognition. If your phone can't do it on its own, Apple processes the audio to write it out.
- If a message is reported: a copy of it and the ten before it, seen only by the person reviewing, for 30 days or until the review closes.
- A random account number on this phone. No email, no phone number.
- Where you are reading on your own stays on your phone only.
- Supabase keeps ordinary connection logs, like IP addresses, for a few days.
Where the words come from
مصادر النص- The Arabic is the Uthmani text of the Tanzil Project, unchanged.
- The English is Marmaduke Pickthall's translation (1930), as Tanzil publishes it.
- The recitation is Mishary Alafasy's, played from everyayah.com, which sees your connection when it plays.
- The typefaces are Bricolage Grotesque, Reem Kufi, Literata and Amiri Quran, under the SIL Open Font License (included in the app).
