Halaqa is free. It is for reading the Quran, on your own or with people you invite, and saying what stays with you.
Be kind. No insults, harassment, hate, or arguing anyone down.
Keep private things private. Don’t share anyone’s phone number, email, address, social accounts or photos, including your own.
Be who you say you are: your own first name, and honest about sitting with sisters or brothers.
No selling, ads, links to other groups, or recruiting.
Anyone can report a message, block a person or leave a halaqa. Hosts can pause or remove someone. We may remove messages or accounts that break these rules.
What you write
كلامك- What you write is yours. You let us store it and show it to your halaqa, and nothing else.
- Deleting removes it, except a reported message, which is kept for 30 days for review.
The Quran and its sources
القرآن ومصادره- The Quran is shown exactly as received from the sources named on every page.
- Translations and commentary are human works, credited to their authors. They are not the Quran itself.
- Halaqa is not a scholar. For rulings, ask a person of knowledge.
The usual
الباقي- Halaqa is offered as it is, without guarantees. We do our best to keep it working and correct, and we fix mistakes when they’re reported.
- If you use Halaqa from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence terms also apply.
- If these terms change, the new version is posted here with its date. Our privacy policy is Our promises.
